Ruby Flesh Tint, from crushed ruby mineral. Pale pink

Natural mineral pigment, from crushed rubies. Production involves selection of the best stones, followed by pulverisation, washing and then sieving down to 50micron size.

When milled in oil the pale pink pigment takes on a darker cast. When used in glaze techniques, the gentle pink colour is revived. For example, when admixed with WS Co Co Bello Veneto Glaze Medium, then diluted back with WS Co Co Bello Diluent. The dried paint film has a crystalline, slightly grainy finish.

Semi-transparent – more so when used in glazes.

Drying: 4-5 days in thin applications.
