£8.40 £7.15Standard low viscosity alkyd resin paint medium. Add 10-30% to oil colours, to increase drying time, create extra gloss and depth. Gentle flow properties: can be further diluted with Shellsol T low odour mineral solvent or turpentine.
£22.80 £19.35Extra thick blend of bleached beeswax, dammar resin and linseed stand oil. Adds body to oil colours and creates a slower tack to wet paint films. Add 10-20% to oil colour and apply with brush or palette knife up to thickness of 2-3mm maximum. Thicker layers will tend to take longer to dry and increase yellowing/darkening of dried paint film. Over-addition of beeswax paste to oil colours leaves the dried paint film fragile when exposed to high temperatures (beeswax melts at ca. 60°C).

Tends to leave paint films even with regular glossing ( excessive dilution of oil colour with any solvent will tend towards a slight matting of the dried paint film). Keep in air tight closed tin avoid prolonged exposure to air or light (can lead to thickening/discoloration of turpentine). Use in environments with adequate ventilation.
