Wallace Seymour Artist Oil Colour Paints offer a premium palette at affordable prices. The paints are handmade using high grade raw materials and cold-pressed linseed oil for optimum colour reasonance.

The lead-chromate yellows of the nineteenth century, as used by Van Gogh, the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists are prohibited from use in artist’s colours today.

This replacement is a blend of two synthetic pigments: PY 83 is semi-opaque, PY 74 is transparent. The careful blend is redolent of old Chrome Yellow Middle but has better permanence.
