Hangman’s Lodge Ironstone, hand-dug, own production

Wallace Seymour own production, from their local ochre pit in Ribblesdale. The raw material is dug out by hand in pieces, then pulverised, sorted and sieved, washed, then sieved again to 50micron. A yellow-orange clay ochre, with good transparency when worked in glazes.

Fast drying 2-3 days in thin applications.
