Chrysocolla – genuine

OB/28/40 Series D

CuSiO3.nH2O. Natural mineral copper silicate: somewhere between malachite and azurite in shade (according to available stones). They pulverise the stone to pigment at 50micron. In oil, a gentle, slightly matt deep green-blue.

Fast drying, 1-2 days in thin applications.

Semi-opaque, showing transparency as a glaze. Slightly granular when strongly diluted.
