Diketo-Pyrrole pigments are very intense and saturated. These synthetic-organic colours have a similar covering power and density as the Cadmiums but readily disperse into aqueous binders such as acrylic resin. These acrylic paints bring a new aspect to the orange-red-crimson range of acrylic shades.

When compared to other synthetic organic pigments, the Diketo-Pyrrole shades have very good opacity and offer a non-hazardous alternative to cadmium pigments.
