Acrylic Impasto Gel Matt - Wallace Seymour

Impasto gels can be used to fatten the volume of acrylic colour and to extend acrylic colour.

For example, mix Acrylic Impasto Gel Matt 50-50 with acrylic colour to gain a heavy gel consistency with a matt finish. In this form, can be applied with spatula/painting knives, etc to gain thicker passages of paint (up to 3-5mm thickness without shrinkage).

Matt Gels are slightly cloudy upon drying and have a marginal whitening effect on the mixed colour.
