Impasto gels can be used to fatten the volume of acrylic colour and to extend acrylic colour.
For example, mix Acrylic Impasto Gel Gloss 50-50 with acrylic colour to gain a heavy gel consistency with a glossy finish.
In this form, can be applied with spatula/painting knives, etc to gain thicker passages of paint (up to 3-5mm thickness without shrinkage).
