Lead Tin Yellow Pale, Giallorino chiaro (PY 46)

Best used alone, or as very pale yellow when admixed with lead white. Both pale lemon and warm shades are milky and opaque when mixed into binder. Lead tin yellow is sometimes found in old paintings as an underpaint, subsequently overpainted with a green glaze (copper resinate), to achieve bright, strong green shades.

Stable in oil. Dries fast (contains lead). Opaque
